Managing locations
A location is a physical place with its own address, timezone, services, staff and booking link. Every business has at least one.
Your first location
Registration creates a location called Main with the slug main and the timezone set to UTC. Edit it before taking bookings: give it your real name, address, phone and timezone.
Location fields
- Name – shown to customers on the booking page and in emails.
- Slug – the last part of the public booking URL:
bookifylabs.com/book/your-business/your-slug. Lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens. - Address and Phone – displayed to customers.
- Timezone – every appointment at this location is scheduled and displayed in this zone.
- Active – inactive locations are hidden from customers and from the Sharing page.
Add a location
Owners can click Create location. Managers can edit locations but not create or delete them. Once created, switch to the new location in the header and set up its services and staff, or use Copy from location on the Services page to duplicate an existing catalogue.
Plan limits
The number of locations depends on your plan: Starter up to 3, Business up to 10, Enterprise unlimited. When the limit is reached, creating another location shows an upgrade prompt. See Billing & Plans.
Delete a location
Only owners can delete a location, and only when no staff, services or appointments still reference it. If you need to retire a location that has history, deactivate it instead.
