Settings and account security

Business or location scope

The Settings page follows the header switcher. With Business selected you edit business-wide values; with a location selected you edit that location's own phone, currency and timezone. Location names are changed on the Locations page.

General

• Business name and Phone.
• Currency – the default for new services and for reports.
• Timezone – the default for new locations.
• Slug – your public booking URL. It cannot be changed after registration.
• Status – Active or Inactive. Activation is handled through Billing.

Email notifications

Choose which emails your business receives: new booking notifications, cancellation notifications and marketing emails from BookifyLabs. Customers always receive their own confirmation and cancellation emails regardless of these settings.

Account security

The Account security card applies to you personally, not to the business:

• Password reset – emails you a single-use link, valid for 60 minutes.
• Two-factor authentication – scan the QR code with an authenticator app and enter the 6-digit code to enable. You get 10 recovery codes, shown once; download or copy them. Regenerating codes or turning 2FA off requires your password.
• Sign out on all devices – ends every active session, including this one.
