Getting started with BookifyLabs

From creating your account to taking your first online booking. This page walks through the setup order that works best and points you to the detailed guide for each area.

1. Create your account

Register with your name, business name, email and password. The Booking URL slug you pick (for example my-salon) becomes part of the public link your customers use, so choose something short and recognisable.

Registration creates your business, makes you its owner and adds a first location called Main. We also send a verification email; click the link inside it within 12 hours.

2. Choose a plan

A new business starts inactive. Open Billing in the dashboard, pick a plan and complete checkout to activate it. If a trial is available for your business, the trial price is shown at checkout. See Billing & Plans for what each plan includes.

3. Set up in this order

There is no wizard; every area is its own page in the dashboard. Setting them up in this order avoids going back and forth:

  1. Settings – set your timezone, default currency and phone number. Your first location is created in UTC, so fix the timezone before anything else. → Settings & Security
  2. Locations – rename the default location, give it an address and its own timezone, or add more. → Locations
  3. Services – create categories and services with a duration, buffer and price. → Services
  4. Staff – add the people customers can book, with their working hours and days off. → Staff
  5. Team – invite colleagues who need to log in, as staff, managers or owners. → Team
  6. Sharing – copy your booking link, download the QR code and put both where customers will see them. → Sharing
TipServices and staff belong to a location. Use the location switcher in the dashboard header to choose which one you are editing. All locations is a read-only overview; pick a specific location to add or change things.

Your dashboard

The Dashboard page is a read-only overview: today's and upcoming appointments, active staff and services, a booking and revenue trend chart (this week, this month, all time or a custom range), a queue of items that need your attention, the upcoming agenda and a feed of recent activity.
